Who can participate?

SME Passport is open to managers of small and medium sized companies with the ambition and a strong potential to develop their activities at an international level.

A jury will select 23 companies from among all applications received, based on the following criteria:

  •   Competitive advantages, and products or services
  •   Financial capacity and resources
  •   The management team’s commitment
  •   Stage of international development
  •   Gross sales between 1M$ and 25M$ yearly

The services and visibility offered by the program are valued at up to $25,000 CAD. If chosen, companies must agree to pay the sum of $5,000 CAD. Once paid, this non-refundable amount will serve to confirm the participants’ commitment, and to support the management of the SME Passport program.

Entrepreneurs wishing to take part in SME Passport must submit all required documents by Friday, November 11 at 5 pm at the very latest.
